Pastel 1

there's nothing more messy than coloring with pastels!!!...that's why i love it!( that was for "shark tale" in early developement)

thanks for the comment on my site. And answering my question. Im going to go check out the art store and see if i can find any black canson paper. As far as seeing my Short Movie "moonman" I havent really decided to show it yet. The reason being is that its a 3 minute short and about 30 seconds of it isnt done. ITs all over the place. it goes from finished ,to storyboards to line tests to pose tests and back to finish haha. kinda distracting..

ha--the first time I read your sentence, I saw it as "nothing more EASY than coloring with pastels"--and I did a double take--what??! Is he crazy?
But I read it again, and I see neither of us is...yes, they're no doubt the messiest--but what a beautiful result you got. Lovely!

I was at the Huntington museum in Pasadena last Sunday, admiring a c.1790 portrait in pastels; they can be so incredible in effect. You just don't see enough of it used(at least I don't, these days).
